The Hosts of City Nights

Our rotating team of hosts brings you the best of the Cincinnati entertainment scene!

Pete Scalia

Joined City Nights in: 1998

Pete graduated from Ohio University, where he discovered he had a talent for being in front of the camera. After college, Pete played in a band, opening for "Bad Company" during a summer tour. Pete has played in several local bands since returning to Cincinnati and currently works for ClearChannel Communications.

Tiana Paraz

Joined City Nights in: 2002

Tiana joined City Nights after the departure of our long-running, female co-host Rita Compton in 2002. Tiana jumped in with both feet and grabbed the opportunity to make herself a vital part of the show. She attended the Ohio Center for Broadcasting and has already worked in both radio and television.

Keith Sowder

Joined City Nights in: 2003

Keith guest-starred on City Nights several times before finally joining as a co-host in 2003. Performing stand-up, Keith brought his own brand of comedy to City Nights many times. He also produces "Nacho Mama's Comedy Show", appearing recently at the Madison Theater in Covington. Check out some of Keith's stuff at

Katie Ratliff

Joined City Nights in: 2003

Katie comes to us from the Ohio Center For Broadcasting most recently, but she has an extensive background in film and television. She was recently on A&E and plans to make City Nights a springboard to the "Big Time".

Sam Hill

Joined City Nights in: 2001

Sam was the ultimate "last-second" host for us more times than we could count. Finally, we all just admitted that he was one of the permanent hosts, though we had to convince him also. Sam is a graduate of OCB and is a natural in front of the camera. He also works as a field producer for the Telecommunications Board of Northern Kentucky. He is determined to become famous because of his patented "website dance."

Anita Wells

Joined City Nights in: 2003

Anita is well-known in the jazz and blues circles in Cincinnati for performing all over town with the beloved LOMAX band. She is a natural performer, which carries over into her hosting of City Nights, and has sung on the show several times as well.

Mandy Fisher (Guest Host)

First Appeared on City Nights in: 2001

An actress, singer and model, Mandy got her start locally with the "Midwest Bikini Team", but didn't stop until she found her way to Hollywood. Smart and beautiful, Mandy completed her bachelor's degree in Communications at the University of Cincinnatiin in only three years, while maintaining a 3.8 GPA. Mandy has appeared in "Playboy" and we always look forward to her appearing on City Nights.
